PET STAY REGULATIONS AT THE ART HOTEL

Will your per accompany you during your stay at our facility? It’s great, we shall be most happy to welcome you both! Just let us know about it during your booking and learn a few simple rules so that you, the same as all other Guests or our staff can feel secure and comfortable. Please make sure you follow them and so will we avoid problems.

 

§ 1 General provisions

  1. Arriving with a pet must be requested when booking a stay or any other service –the species and / or the breed of the animal is to be specified right at this point. Pets may only stay on the premises with the prior consent of the Hotel, granted when ordering the services. In the absence of prior notification, the Hotel may refuse to accept the animal.
  2. The stay of pets involves additional charges (except for assistance dogs). The current list of charges can be found in the hotel price list.
  3. If the Guest fails to inform the hotel reception about having a dog or any other animal in the room, they shall be charged a penalty in the amount governed by the hotel service price list.
  4. Only pets – dogs or cats – are allowed in the Hotel. The Hotel may refuse to accept the following animals: dogs mentioned in the list of dog breeds considered aggressive in par. 1 of the Regulation of the Minister of Internal Affairs and Administration of 28 April 2003 on the list of dog breeds considered to be aggressive (Journal of Laws 2003 no. 77, item 687).
  5. The Hotel Guests are obliged to provide their phone number for the time of their stay at the Hotel, should it be necessary for the Hotel Staff to contact them in case the pet is burdensome or threatens the safety of other people when left alone in the room in its owner’s absence.
  6. Persons staying at the Hotel or the Restaurant with a pet are obliged to ensure that the pet is fully supervised and does not pose a threat and / or does not cause discomfort to other persons and Guests staying at the Hotel.
  7. Animals should be walked on a leash, under the supervision of a person who is capable of exercising full control over the animal’s behaviour. Dogs of the breeds that are deemed aggressive and dogs that behave aggressively towards people and other animals must be kept on a leash and muzzled. Cats must be carried in dedicated carriers.
  8. Pet owners are obliged to clean up any waste left by their pets on the premises and in the surroundings of the Hotel and the Restaurant. The obligation to clean up after an assistance dog does not apply to blind and / or wheelchair users.
  9. The pet owner bears full liability for any damage caused to the property belonging to the Hotel and to other people caused by their pet as well as for any damage caused by this pet to people. Any damage to the hotel or restaurant property or to the property of other Guests or the Hotel Staff caused by pets shall be priced by the Hotel Management and the cost shall be borne by the pet owners.

§ 2 Rooms

  1. Accommodation with a pet is only possible in selected rooms.
  2. The pet owner is required to provide their pet with a permanent access to clean, fresh water, food and all the necessary items such as a pen, cage, bowls, drinkers, etc.
  3. Pets are forbidden from using the hotel towels and bedlinen as well as staying on the room furniture.
  4. At the Guest’s request, the Hotel Staff can provide the pet with additional facilities in the room – according to the current offer.
  5. For safety reasons, rooms with pets are only cleaned when the pet is not present in the room. The pet owner is obliged to arrange the time of the cleaning service to be provided in their hotel room by the Hotel Staff at the reception every day.
  6. If the pet is accustomed to being left alone at home without its owner, then – when leaving it alone in the hotel room – the pet owner is obliged to each time place a proper hanger on the outside handle of the door, informing about the pet in the room.
  7. If due to the presence of the pet at the Hotel, it was necessary to make an additional cleaning of the room or any other hotel or restaurant areas, the Guest is obliged to bear the cost of such cleaning.
  8. The Hotel reserves the right to shorten the stay of the Guest travelling with a pet without refunding the payment made for the stay if other Guests repeatedly make complaints or if it threatens the safety of other people or significantly affects the comfort of other Guests’ stay or if the Guest staying at the Hotel with the pet violates these Rules and Regulations.
  9. If the Hotel Staff has a reasonable suspicion that the animal left in the room disturbs the stay of other Guests, damages the property of the Hotel or may cause a situation of danger to itself or other Guests, the Hotel Staff will attempt to contact the owner of the pet in question in order to solve the problem; however, if such contact is not possible, the Hotel reserves the right to enter the Guest’s room, also with the possible assistance of proper services, and remove the pet from the Hotel. All costs resulting from the above actions will be borne by the owner of the pet.

§ 3 Restaurant and breakfast

  1. Dogs are allowed in the dining halls only with the permission of the Staff and in the place indicated by the Staff.
  2. Pets must be kept close to the Guest’s table and stay on the floor throughout.
  3. Upon request of the Guest of the Hotel or of the Restaurant, the Staff can provide each dog with a separate water bowl.
  4. It is forbidden to bring pets to the halls where food and drink buffets are displayed.

§ 4 Banquets

  1. The stay of pets during a banquet must be accepted in advance and the permission is to be obtained at the stage of booking services.
  2. The Hotel reserves the right to refuse to accept pets if this could affect the comfort or safety of the banquet participants.
  3. The stay of pets requires additional charges (except for assistance dogs), which are always to be found in the confirmation of the banquet service booking.
