There’s no doubt that everyone still remembers the Filleas Fogg’s famous travel around the world in 80 days which Julius Verne described in his novel. However, hardly anyone knows that ten years later Ferdinand Deseire set off from London in order to beat the record of his predecessor. He did it in 77 days. Whereas thanks to a Wrocław artist Janusz Klekot the fascinating is still living – gained the second life on his picture.
